La Toscana Ristorante e Pizzeria

Lovely place, great food, friendly staff. Aside from the food, i would definitely go back for the ambience. I love the garden area, and can't stop imagining having an event there. When we visited the new bar wasn't open yet. I would love to check it out, it looked so cozy from the outside.

Authentic italian cuisine where the foods are freshly made and something you can eat on a daily basis. The foods are not oily , too salty , or too sweet. Like an everyday staple.

Wonderful A/C ambiance, cloth napkins & table cloth, excellent waiter, large photos of Florence, Milan, Sistine Chapel, & other artwork! Food not excellent, but prices very fair (see menu photos). Will come back to try other menu items since the list is extensive.

If you're a true pasta lover, La Toscana is the place to be! I tried their Mixed Seafood Pasta and loved it — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Definitely coming back!

If it’s freshly made authentic Italian food you are looking for, then La Toscana is a must try. We went on a Monday evening around 5:15 and were the only customers. It’s nicely decorated, roomy and inviting. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The ceiling artwork is very well done. The staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations. We ordered the Chicken Salad, Pancetta Pizza and the Beef Raviolis. Everything is made fresh so waiting was expected and worth it. Our salad came out with bread and we used the olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping it. Very good! Our pizza and ravioli came together and we happily finished both of them. The ravioli and sauce were meaty and well seasoned. Our thin crust pizza was flavorful and not overly cheesy as it should be. Sadly we were too full to try their deserts. This was a wonderful dining experience! They do have WiFi and the CR was clean.

This restaurant is nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city as it's located just beside a not so busy street. The outside of the restaurant looks unassuming, but the interior feels very warm and homey albeit a bit small. As for the al fresco dining, you'll be surrounded by a variety of plants with not much landscaping done on the area and since there are a lot of plants, you should be wary of mosquitos and other insects. The service here was also impeccable. The staff were trained well as they were courteous and friendly from the time we got in to the time that we went out. Kudos to them! As for the food, it's no doubt that they offer an authentic Italian flavor. You could tell from the flavors of the dishes that they were made with simple ingredients that still gives off a nice taste. No taste was too overpowering, nor were they overwhelming which I enjoyed very much and it left me wanting more, but this could be a problem especially if youre not used to minimal seasoning. Everything that we ordered was exquisite. My boyfriend especially liked their dinamite pizza since it was made with a thin crust. Not to mention, their serving time was quick. We only waited for almost 15mins for our food to be served and mind you, the food was served piping hot. As for the price point, it was relatively affordable given the variety and the complexity of the food that they offer. I can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes! Update: Would really recommend their risotto. I loved it!

Wow! Another "Like at home" Italian Restaurant in Davao. Very nice decoration... don't miss a look at the ceiling! You can feel like in the sistine chapel in Rome! They have also some special wines to choose from, and their Food is tasty. The price is for the quality. Not the cheapest, but affordable. Little bit filippino: Their menu offers .75 ltr. sparkling water, but... "not available, Sir" :-) And the .5 ltr bootle... only 2 chilled, then the chilled was empty. But thats all, it's a good place to go there, you will not be disappointed! We will come back, sure!!

I can't say enough good things about the staff & food here. We were planning on going to another Italian Restaurant we had been to before. What a blessing that a young lady in our vehicle suggested La Toscana. When you drive up the ambience begins on the outside. I heard live music outside immediately. It was very good sounding American music by a solo artist. Our party moved inside and I was blown away by the inside decor. It really looked like I had walked into a restaurant in Italy. La Toscana is definitely a fine dining restaurant with very reasonable prices. The food tasted just as authentic as the menu looked. We had Italian salad, cheese tray (with some the best Blue Cheese I have ever eaten), Osso Busco (falling off the bone beef), Mozzarella Calda, Eggplant w/mozzarella, marinara, Family bacon pizza, Margherita Pizza (both were excellent) and more. All the food was excellent quality and tasted just like we were in Italy. All the food and shakes were 4005p or less than $75 for 7 people. What a treat La Toscana was for us.
